Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cocoa traditionally warm us in the cold season. Everyone has their own taste preferences, someone likes herbal tea, someone fruit, someone prefers to add a little alcohol to the drink - there are many variations.

The warming properties of tea can be enhanced with various spices and other additives. They will not only warm you on a gloomy evening, but will also serve as a prophylaxis for colds, strengthen immunity and improve your mood.

Fruit punch

You will need:

  • 500 ml strong black tea
  • 300 g cranberries
  • 1 pear
  • 1 apple
  • 70 g granulated sugar
  • 1 slice of ginger root (approx 3 cm)
  • 4 clove buds
  • 1 table. spoon of honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 200 ml apple juice

Cooking:

  1. Sort cranberries, wash and dry on a paper towel. Wash the pear and apple, dry, cut each fruit in half and remove the seed core. Cut the pulp into slices. Together with cranberries, transfer to a small saucepan and add sugar.
  2. Wash, peel and chop the ginger root. Add to the pan, pour hot tea, put spices, honey and bring to a boil. Pour in apple and lemon juices and heat.
  3. Pour into double-walled tall glasses and serve. Each glass can be decorated with lemon zest.

Tea Mulled Wine

You will need:

  • 1 table. a spoon of red tea
  • 0.5 liters of water
  • 1 orange
  • 1 apple
  • 1 slice of ginger root (2 cm)
  • juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 anise stars
  • 4 clove buds
  • 1/2 tea tablespoons ground cinnamon

Cooking:

  1. Wash and slice the orange and apple. Peel the ginger root and grate it on a fine grater.
  2. Put all the prepared ingredients in a pan, add the juice and zest of 1 lemon, anise, cloves, cinnamon and dry tea. Pour boiling water.
  3. Put on fire and heat, not boiling. Leave on low heat for 5 minutes, cover with a lid, then pour into glasses and serve.

Cranberry Tea with Mint and Clove

You will need:

  • 1 table. teaspoon of green tea
  • 4 sprigs of mint
  • 2 clove buds
  • 4 peas of pink pepper
  • 300 g cranberries
  • 100 g granulated sugar

Cooking:

  1. Green tea with 3 sprigs of mint, cloves and pink pepper pour 500 ml of water at a temperature of 85-90 ° C and wrap.
  2. Mash cranberries with sugar, pour 300 ml of water and bring to a boil. Strain.
  3. Mix cranberry broth with infusion of tea, mint and spices. Pour into thick glass goblets, garnish with mint leaves from the remaining sprig and serve immediately.

Apple ginger drink

You will need:

For 4 persons

  • ginger root (about 7 cm)
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • several sprigs of mint
  • 3 lemons
  • 2 limes
  • 4 apples

Cooking:

  1. Wash the ginger root, peel, cut into slices. In a saucepan, heat 300 ml of water, add sugar and, stirring, bring to a boil. Put ginger, sprigs of mint (leave one for decoration) and cook for 7 minutes. Let cool and strain.
  2. Remove the zest from the lemons and 1 lime and squeeze the juice. Squeeze the juice from apples. Mix them, combine with the cooled syrup, add the zest and pour into the glasses.
  3. Cut the remaining lime into slices, arrange into glasses. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.

Sea-buckthorn-orange fruit drink

You will need:

  • 150-100 g of sea buckthorn berries
  • 2 small oranges
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1,5 l of water

Cooking:

  1. Rinse the berries of sea buckthorn under running water. Allow water to drain.
  2. Pour oranges over boiling water, dry. Remove the peel with a sharp grater.
  3. Pour boiling water over the peel of oranges and boil for 20-25 minutes over low heat. Then let the broth brew for 20-30 minutes and strain it.
  4. Transfer the berries of sea buckthorn and the flesh of an orange to an enamel bowl and mash with a wooden crush or spoon until the pulp is separated from the skin and seeds.
  5. Place a sieve on the pan, line it with gauze in 2 layers. Put the sea-buckthorn-orange mass on a sieve. Leave on for 15–20 minutes to allow the juice to stack in a saucepan. On the gauze there will be bones and skins. Then you can squeeze the cheesecloth additionally by hand so that the rest of the juice gets to the bulk.
  6. Add sugar to the decoction of the peel of the orange. Stir, bring, stirring, to a boil, then refrigerate.
  7. Pour the sea buckthorn and orange juice into the resulting orange syrup, mix.

Spicy Masala - Tea

You will need:

  • 2 tbsp. black tea
  • 2.5 tbsp. milk
  • 1-2 tbsp. l Sahara
  • 1/4 tsp carnations
  • 1/4 tsp dry ginger
  • 2 pcs. cardamom
  • a pinch of nutmeg

Cooking:

  1. Brew black tea and let it brew a little.
  2. Pour tea into a saucepan, add sugar, milk and spices.
  3. Bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.
  4. Pour tea into a French press or filter the spices with a strainer.

Hibiscus winter berry tea

You will need:

  • 500 ml of hibiscus tea
  • a handful of fresh or frozen berries to taste (raspberries, strawberries,currant, blackberry, cherry)
  • a little mint (can be dried)
  • 3 tbsp. l sugar
  • lemon and honey to taste

Cooking:

  1. Mash the berries with sugar and mint, add hot tea and mix.
  2. Give the drink a little brew, strain and pour into cups.
  3. You can add lemon or honey to taste.

Grog

You will need:

  • 1 liter of strong black tea without flavors and additives
  • 6-7 clove buds
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups of apple and cherry juice
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • star anise star
  • generous pinch of nutmeg

Cooking:

  1. Stir tea and juice, bring to a boil.
  2. Add spices and sugar.
  3. Cook for 5-10 minutes over low heat.

Green tea with ginger and honey

You will need:

  • 300 ml green tea
  • 2 slices of orange
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 pcs. carnations
  • 1 ginger plate

Cooking:

  1. 1 tbsp. l brew green tea with 300 ml of warm water, leave for 5 minutes
  2. Add honey, ginger, cloves, slices of orange to the brewed tea and mix

Rooibos latte

1 serving

You will need:

  • 50 ml strong brewed rooibos tea
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp honey

Cooking:

  1. 1 teaspoon rooibos tea brew 50 ml of hot water, leave for 5 minutes
  2. Beat milk into foam, but you can just warm it up
  3. Add honey to warm strained rooibos
