White tea
White tea is considered the most useful among all types of tea. The raw materials for white tea are unblown buds, covered with white villi - this is how the tea plant protects the tender young bud from possible frost. Hence the name of the tea.
The production technology of white tea involves minimal processing - the tea is simply picked and dried, like healing herbs. The degree of fermentation (oxidation) of white tea is slightly higher than that of green tea (5-7%)
