Classic teapot made of Yixing clay.
Volume - 190 ml.
A teapot from Qinzhou, Guangxi Province, also known as Nishing-tao. It has the classic Xi Shi shape and is decorated with an image of a sparrow sitting on a plum tree. The sparrow symbolizes the bearer of good news, and the plum represents vitality, endurance and rebirth.
The kettle is of high quality and has slightly thicker walls than average kettles, which allows it to retain heat for a long time.
The kettle sounds like steel and features a classic nine-hole strainer for excellent functionality and fast draining. It feels silky to the touch.
This is an ideal teapot for shu puer.
The kettle is supplied without a box.
Important:
- A new kettle should get used to the temperature in your room before use. Do not rinse the kettle with boiling water immediately after bringing your purchase from a frosty street.
- Do not wash earthenware kettles with strong-scented detergents. Clay teapots after tea drinking are simply rinsed with hot water, that's enough.
- Prepare the new kettle for brewing by rinsing with boiling water. And it is better to brew ordinary tea in it and leave it for a day, then pour it out - this way you will prepare the kettle for brewing real tea.
