Japanese style teapot made of Yixing clay Zi Sha.

Yixing teapot made of Zi Sha clay is made in the shape of "Tang Yu" or "Tang Feather". The main body of the teapot resembles the shape of "Shui Ping", but its distinctive feature is the unique wooden handle. It is this handle, similar to a feather, that gave the name to the shape "Tang Yu". Such teapots with wooden handles are often found in Japanese tea culture, where they are called "kyusu" or "kyushu".
Classic sieve with 7 holes. The walls of the teapot are thinner than usual, but the bottom is sealed for stability. The lid fits tightly. The clay is pleasant to the touch - porous and silky.

Important:
- A new kettle should get used to the temperature in your room before use. Do not rinse the kettle with boiling water immediately after bringing your purchase from a frosty street.
- Do not wash earthenware kettles with strong-scented detergents. Clay teapots after tea drinking are simply rinsed with hot water, that's enough.
- Prepare the new kettle for brewing by rinsing with boiling water. And it is better to brew ordinary tea in it and leave it for a day, then pour it out - this way you will prepare the kettle for brewing real tea.
