The Yixing clay teapot Zi Sha (purple clay) is a variation of the classic “Jing Lan” shape - “Well Fence”. This is high-quality handwork.
The water lock functions properly. The unique shape of the spout ensures very fast drainage. The walls are thinner than average, which gives it a ringing sound when tapped. There is a master's seal inside. The sieve has an intermediate shape between the classic and the nest, with 7 holes. The comfortable and wide handle makes it comfortable to use.
The teapot is decorated with elegant hand carving and is pleasant to the touch due to the velvety clay. Despite its rather large volume, it looks compact and is perfect for your tea ceremony.
Important:
- A new kettle should get used to the temperature in your room before use. Do not rinse the kettle with boiling water immediately after bringing your purchase from a frosty street.
- Do not wash earthenware kettles with strong-scented detergents. Clay teapots after tea drinking are simply rinsed with hot water, that's enough.
- Prepare a new kettle for brewing by rinsing with boiling water. And it is better to brew ordinary tea in it and leave it for a day, then pour it out - this way you will prepare the kettle for brewing real tea.
