The teapot is handcrafted from Duan Ni clay by master Li Zhigang.
Volume 180 ml
It is distinguished by high quality workmanship. Its unique shape, called by the author Yi Pian Wa, meaning "Whole Roof Tile" or "Full Roof Tile", is an evolution of the traditional forms of Han Wa - "Han Roof Tiles".
In the production process of the teapot, a high-temperature firing method was used, due to which the most fusible components were removed from the material, which helped to increase the porosity of the product and reduce its weight.
This kettle features a thin-walled and lightweight design. Inside it is the master's seal. The teapot strainer, which is an intermediate option between the classic design and the nest design, has 7 holes. Thanks to the thick spout, a high draining speed is achieved. The spacious lid allows you not to limit yourself in the size of tea leaves.
Important:
- A new kettle should get used to the temperature in your room before use. Do not rinse the kettle with boiling water immediately after bringing your purchase from a frosty street.
- Do not wash earthenware kettles with strong-scented detergents. Clay teapots after tea drinking are simply rinsed with hot water, that's enough.
- Prepare the new kettle for brewing by rinsing with boiling water. And it is better to brew ordinary tea in it and leave it for a day, then pour it out - this way you will prepare the kettle for brewing real tea.
