The ceremonial match is made in Kyoto Prefecture, Uji, the heart of a culture match. The soil in Uji is very favorable for the cultivation of the highest quality tea. The special production technology of the Match involves the shading of tea plants 2 weeks before harvest, as a result the plants grow more slowly, which gives them the opportunity to be saturated with amino acids and other valuable substances. After harvesting, the tea leaf is dried in special air machines, then the cuttings are separated and ground on stone millstones into the finest powder.
