Chahai serves as an intermediate container between teapot and bowls. It is also called "Slivnik" or "Cup of Justice." The second, undoubtedly, is more romantic, and has justifications.
The Chinese say that everyone is equal before tea - that is, all tea party participants should receive the same tea.
