Author's teapot made of Yixing clay Long Bei Qin.
Volume - 220 ml.
The teapot material is a mixture of Yixing clays, known as Long Bei Qin. The teapot is made in the classic Jing Lan (Well Fence) shape and is handmade. Inside it is the master's seal. The walls are of medium thickness, and the lid fits tightly to the body, as it is recessed into it. The sieve is standard, with seven holes, and the outer surface of the teapot is decorated with calligraphy.
Important:
- A new kettle should get used to the temperature in your room before use. Do not rinse the kettle with boiling water immediately after bringing your purchase from a frosty street.
- Do not wash earthenware kettles with strong-scented detergents. Clay teapots after tea drinking are simply rinsed with hot water, that's enough.
- Prepare a new kettle for brewing by rinsing with boiling water. And it is better to brew ordinary tea in it and leave it for a day, then pour it out - this way you will prepare the kettle for brewing real tea.
