An unconventional gaiwan with a sieve in the lid. Very convenient to use. It is a cross between a teapot and a gaiwan. Unlike a teapot, it does not have a spout. Unlike the classic gaiwan, it does not have a stand and has an elongated “proboscis” for easy draining of the finished tea.
