A caddy is needed for the proper storage of tea, it helps to protect your favorite tea from moisture, light, and foreign odors.
Tea has different densities, so keep in mind that a jar of this size will fit about 100 grams of tightly rolled oolong, such as Ginseng, or only 25 grams of bulky tea, such as Da Hong Pao or Silver Needles.
The surface of the jar is covered with glaze with microcracks forming a pattern that is unique for each specimen.
Celadon (Tsintsi) dishes are sometimes compared to jade. To obtain a greenish-blue tint and a beautiful shine, iron oxide is added to the glaze. The color of the glaze can range from pale blue or light green (the color of lake water) to dark green or gray-blue (the color of a stormy sky).
